The first ever Artists on VT weekend was held at Takoja Retreat Centre, New Mexico, USA on the weekend of 1-4th September 2006.

7 wonderful and talented VT'ers attended in person. Many of us could not, but were invited to be Virtual Attendees, therefore for me Sunday 3rd was dedicated to creative pursuits (yep, no chores, no visitors, just a heavenly day of music, scribbling and chucking paint around).

I don't possess a great artistic talent, but I really do have a great time practising :o)

Ronda, Spain (watercolour)

Awesome Andalucia.....

We visited Ronda earlier this year whilst attending the Marbella, Spain VT Meeting.

I have recently been trying my hand at watercolour painting. From a few photos I had taken, and a few postcards bought, I have been practising on the subject of Ronda (a few small ones at first, but then I thought I'd try out this larger view).

I find these windfarms quite magestic and beautiful.

I wouldn't want one at the bottom of my garden though ;o)
