Sinatra's Influence on Me | 415 Monroe Street, Hoboken, New Jersey |
Maybe it was preordained and I was going to be a Sinatra fan whether I liked it or not. My name is Frank after all, I have blue eyes, and I'm of Sicilian descent. From an early age I identified with the man, his music and lifestyle. This album highlights my Sinatra related pilgrimages from the East Coast to the West. |

| | The Frank Sinatra Walking Tour In May of 2004 I took advantage of being in the New York area while attending a conference to visit Hoboken, the birthplace of Frank Sinatra. I bought a brochure guide of the Hoboken: Frank Sinatra Tour for $1.00 and spent over two hours retracing the same steps he took early in life. Many of the places have changed since his time living in the Mile Square City, but it was a special event nonetheless. |
| Sinatra's Star for TV in Hollywood |
| | Hollywood Barely a month after taking the Sinatra Tour in Hoboken I found myself in California for my sister-in-law's graduation from CSUN. I made my first trip to Hollywood while we were there and enjoyed a few Sinatra moments, including seeing his stars on the boulevard and the Capitol Records building. |
| | Palm Springs My wife and I made this trip to California before we were married and maybe part of the reason I married her was because she allowed me to veer two hours out of our way during the precious time we had in California to visit a cemetary in Palm Springs to see the grave of Frank Sinatra. This was a very emotional moment for me, being there at his final resting place. Words can't describe my day at the Desert Memorial Park. |

| | His Memory Lives On There are several daily reminders on this planet that Frank Sinatra was here, not including the music, movies, television specials, books, magazines and scandals that made him the most popular man on the planet. Hoboken has immortalized him with Sinatra Memorial Park and Frank Sinatra Drive. Palm Springs also has honored his memory with a Frank Sinatra Drive of their own. |

| | Sinatra Drive, Hoboken, New Jersey The park in his name is located on the street that also bears his name. |

| | Everyday Sinatra All of these trips happened in early spring of 2004 and I will never forget any of the moments I spent in search of Sinatra. |
