"View from the Malelane Sun viewing deck" Kruger National Park Travelogue by Ash59

The river views at the Malelane Sun viewing deck was just the best and I could not take enough pictures of the views.

People on the viewing deck

It really didn't matter what time of day or night you decided to wander down to viewing deck, there was always someone there before you. We all had something in common, in that we were all there to see the animals so we were united in helping each other spot movement or animals and to talk about what we had seen that day or previously.

Croc on the river bank

He looks small but you really would not like to meet this guy on a dark night. Just glad he was on one side of the fence and I was on the other!

I have just spotted that the head of this guy is cut off by VT picture sizing. Click on the picture to see this thing yawn!

Sunset

Couldn't take enough pics of this sunset reflecting in the river.

Birds basking in the sunset

These birds look like they were enjoying themselves but you can be sure that they had one weather eye open for any crocs that might come looking for a small snack before going to bed.

View from the river walk

The hotel has a river walk which has some nice views of the river.
