More Lists (because I cannot get enough of them!)

The Top Ten Accommodations That I Have Stayed In.

The Pool at the Basma Hotel, Aswan
This is a list of the my favourite hotels, lodges, pensions or bed and breakfasts that where I have spent the night. Most of these establishments are budget or tourist class as I tend to believe that spending loads of cash on a night's sleep is a waste of money. I like a place that is full of atmosphere and is intimate rather then luxurious. Finally I doubt that any professional travel critic will find any of these hotels "great" but I found them fun.

1) The Owl Hotel, Amsterdam (very intimate and quaint)
2) The Sylvia Hotel, Vancouver (great location and good price)
3) The Beach House, Side, Turkey (fun staff, cheap and great location on the sea)
4) The Ottoman House, Goreme, Turkey. (really nice staff and good value)
5) The Holiday Inn Khajuraho, India (great value and the best chain hotel I have ever stayed in)
6) King George's House, Prague (unbeatable location and good atmosphere)
7) The Blaue Gans, Salzburg, Austria (great location and fun staff)
8) The Hotel Royal, Krakow (Old world atmosphere and great location)
9) The Basma Hotel, Aswan, Egypt (inexpensive luxury and pleasant staff)
10) Palazzo Ravizza, Siena, Italy (amazing atmosphere)
The Hotel Kyjev, Bratislava

The Worst Six Hotels That I Have Ever Stayed In.

This is a list of the some of the worse places were I spent the night. This was a hard list to create as I am an easy to please traveler when it comes to hotels. My needs are minimal but these places did not even obtain them. These hotels are really awful. Do not stay in them unless you have no other option.

1) The Hotel Kyjev, Bratislava (Overpriced, poorly maintained, terrible service).
2) The Selcuk Hotel, Konya, Turkey (very poorly maintained, noisy, overpriced).
3) The Hostal Continental, Avila, Spain (the cheapest hotel I ever stayed in, while in Europe. I got what I paid for. Noisy, dirty).
4) The Govind Hotel, Jodhpur, India (Dirty, dark but also very cheap. It does have a great restaurant!)
5) Hotel Tavistock, London (Poor maintenance, noisy and overpriced [but not for London]).
6) Motel PZMot, Lublin, Poland (Poor Service, bland atmosphere)
