I love capturing the feeling of a place with its people, getting an understand from the faces the culture sense of the area. The photos taken on this trip were from around the Bentonville area - but most of them were taken in an early morning "Photo stake out" at the local wal*mart store entrance as people were coming and going, doing what Bentionvillers love to do most shop at Wal*mart. |

|  | Cherokee nation Proud member of the Cherokee nation had family member that was a buffalo soldier and walked the Trail of Tears. By the way he advises, the trail of tears when the Native Americans were forced to move to Oklahoma runs right through this part of Arkansas. I looked it up on google it does . |

|  | Christine’s eyes Now this was a wonderful family in Bentonville for medical treatment at the very nice new medical treatment facility built in Northwest Arkansas. Very proud of their doctor Orlando Aguilar-Guzman, MD who they felt was he “best in the World” The rest of the story is very sad and broke this VTers heart but as I stood talking to this nice family while watching Christine’s eyes. It came to me once again why I like to travel my story on my home page came flooding back.
