| Janet on the way to the wedding |
| | .
For such a stressful event in most women's lives, Janet was amazingly calm ... and spectacularly beautiful ..... |
.
Her son Reid has been the light of her life for so many years. His dad brought him up after visitation, and even witnessed the notarization of her wedding license! As an almost 11 year old, Reid doesn't always show his feelings .... but today he was so proud to be an integral part of this wedding celebration. He stood with the groom's side, and we even did a family bonding portion of the service to honor the formation of a new family, in a addition to the joining of this wonderful couple of friends.
BTW- he doesn't really like his picture taken, can you tell? | | | Reid, Janet, and Jen in the background |

There were 4 of us in the bridal party: Jen the maid of honor, Janet the bride, James the bride's man, and moi. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of us all together!! Waaaahhh!
Oh well, SOMEONE has to snap the picture :) |
.
There is always something at a wedding, and our something was a series of veil difficulties! Thank goodness for Jen, a safety pin and patience ..... we almost resorted to staples!
| Reid, Groom's Bro, Casey the groom |
| | .
The groom's party: Reid as ring bearer and honored son, the groom's brother (whose name I've forgotten.. but I've just been told it's Troy), and the groom Casey! Doesn't Casey look happy???
This day was extra special as Casey's family hadn't all been in the same place at the same time for about 30years - as a matter of fact, that was the last time he'd seen his bro :) A very touching, and happy reunion indeed! |
.
Hailey was very proud of her flower girl dress .... she felt like a princess! Can you tell by that grin on her face?
.
Our ship's captail did a beautiful job in conducting this wedding. He made accomodations for the wind by having his first mate position the boat just so, worked with the happy couple on determining when to have the family bonding portion (conducted by moi), and they even discussed the timing of the boat's horn blowing!
He did an amazing job :) |

Lord_E Mon Apr 28, 2008 11:54 UTC Around the excitement of a wedding, yes - probably, but on a work ski trip we sadly found the Tahoe Queen boring and the shore staff unhelpful. | DennisMyers Wed Mar 21, 2007 21:29 UTC The low rise Nugget is in Reno, the high rise Nugget is in Sparks, east of Reno. This figure was never on top of either Nugget. It was on top of the Claim Stake casino in Sparks, west of the Nugget and on the other side of the street. | Little_Lou_Lou Wed Dec 20, 2006 03:46 UTC Grades are in...4.0 BABY!!! ;) | raytor Thu Dec 14, 2006 14:40 UTC You would know. :-) |
