A whole bunch of friends came and visited | Xian mince meat flat noodles |
When friends come to town, food is always what we do. This month of July saw us hitting the awesome Xian noodle joint, the new Yunan cuisine in Sanlitun, and of course the duck place in Hutong. |
|  | Need a lot of people to do this Going to the Xian noodles, you have to have as least 4 or 5 people. This way you can order a whole bunch of noodle dishes to share and try. Honestly, it is quite filling so usually after a full bowl, you are set for at least a day or two without eating. |
Yunan In&Out In and Out! That's what Yunan is all about! Ok, not quite In and Out hamburger we all know so well from south CA, then but, this brand new restaurant, open as of July 3rd, is just too sweet to be true. The food is fabulous. The decor minimum and all wood. Supposedly shipped in from Yunan. Their rose honey wine and home made rice wine, quench much of the summer thrist. Plus some friends from of the town...it's a hit with everyone. | | |
