Cairo has so many ugly flyovers, though without them movement would be impossible. I found it very strange to be on a level with the rooftops, looking down into buildings. Because buildings always look as if they are unfinished or falling down, it was quite nerve-racking in the early weeks, but like everything else one gets used to it. They are ugly concrete structures, but enable you to get a good view of things. |
| | You get used to the cars racing and overtaking each other on the flyovers. I always imagine someone flying over the edge and landing on someon's roof, or on the road below. |
| | Bridge One of the main bridges across the Nile is the 26th October bridge which is part of the 26 October Corridor , a route that goes right across Cairo . |

| | Church Another interesting church that can be seen from the flyover when going to the airport. |
| | Mosque With so many different styles of mosque, it is interesting to see them from a high level and especially when the minarets are still towering above everything. This particular mosque also has 3 domes. |
