Here are some Bulgarian stamps from my collection. Stamps are a great way of learning about a country's history, customs, nature, arts, etc. Most of the stamps I have are from letters from penpals, friends, family, bills, etc. If you have some old envelopes with stamps you want to throw away, I'll be happy to have them:)
Here's a stamp with Black Sea animals.

When Bulgaria joins the EU, the cyrillic alphabet, written by Bulgarian saints Cyril and Methodius, will become part of the alphabets of EU members.

A 'Bulgarian' king, imposed to by the great powers in the beginning of 20 century. All the rulers from that time didn't have a single drop of Bulgarian blood, and had to learn the language. They made political blunders and got us into war...
