My first mini-VT meet in Boston!

Funnybeee, Johngayton and Sullybiz

Sam Adams..No, JOHN Adams...No Sam, definitely Sam

I had the wonderful pleasure to meet my first 2 VT'ers here in Boston on the long Easter weekend. Funnybeee and Johngayton met up with Sullybiz and I at Faneuil Hall.

It was a bit strange at first when approaching "one of the Adams guys" statue that was suppose to be our meeting point. I wasn't anticipating the hoards of tourists that descended into the area. I kind of slowly walked by some people and out of the corner of my eye I saw a man that *might* be John? I didn't want to seem strange or rude so I just started mouthing "John? John? John?" and sneakily looking out the corner of my eye, hoping that if it wasn't him, he wouldn't hear me or pay attention, and if it was him, he would let me know.

Luckily it was him and I could quit playing detective.

Too many statues

Funnybeee came a few minutes later. Again, not thinking that there are 1000 and 1 statues in Fanueil Hall, and 999 of those are named some form of "Adams", she had found a spot nearby which she thought was right, and given, she was right, but luckily a man making balloon animals and John's waving arm was all she needed to find her way over to us.

Street Performers and lunch!

We were treated to a performance by the Capoeira Brasil Boston group and then made our way through the madness of Quincy Market to grab our lunch. John got the Boston Clam Chowdah!

Lunch by the Harbor

We sat by the harbor and talked and laughed. It was a really wonderful experience. Poor John sat through a few moments of us girls discussing knitting and crocheting and the like but he was a really good sport about it and even showed an interest to learn how!

Until next time! :)

It was a lovely day, though Sullybiz and I had to run a bit earlier than I would have liked.

Thank you both for making my first meet such a pleasant one!
