A Lesson in Measuring Wealth

by Ken_Weaver - last update: Mar 11, 2006

One day a wealthy father took his child to spend the night with a very poor family with the purpose to show him the reality of other people who did not have a lot of money to spend.

On their return home the father asked his son what he thought about the experience and he replied: Its been very good experience daddy, I have learned
we have one dog.... they have four,
we have a nice swimming pool.... they have the river,
we have the sunroof.... they have the sky with stars and moon in it,
we have a beautiful porch with big garden.... they have the forest.

The father was out of breath with what his son was saying. Then the son added thanks dad for showing me how poor we are!

When we measure what we have the result is our perception of life.
If we have love, friends, health, sense of humor and positive thinking,
we have every thing in this life.
Take a moment and decide whether you are rich or poor??!!!!!
