These are the remains of a Jewish town mentioned in the Babylonian Talmud (Menahot 85/A) and renowed for the good wheat grown there. The place has some meaning also for christians. |
|  | Agamas You can meet many agamas on the rocks. These lizards are about 30cm length. The male likes to stand on guard, keeping on eye on the world and possible dangers. The territory of the male is usually about 10 meters diameter and he has up to four wives and kids in this area. |
