That year we decided to correct a known saying about killing of two birds and to pursue three birds simultaneously. This task seemed to us on a shoulder in spite of the fact that on the previous trips to the Europe, we planned to try to kill two birds at once three times, but always unsuccessfully.
What were these birds? The Role of the first bird was clear. This bird was - visiting next Bundessiegerzuhtschau (Sieger) - Deutsсhe shaferhund World championship. This time Sieger should take place in the German city of Ulm. Until then we successfully managed to kill four times such a bird: in Karlsruhe (1999 year), Bremen (2000 year), Düsseldorf (2001 year) and one more time in Karlsruhe (2002 year). Therefore there wasn't doubts in that to kill the first bird or not, to go or to not go to Ulm . It became our kind tradition - to go every year on Sieger. Thus the habitual and expected appendix the whole year to each such trip was the cultural program with visiting on a way to a Sieger place of any German and Polish cities.
The role of the second bird wais not so obvious. Since 1999 year we dreamed of the expanded cultural program with visiting Paris. The cultural program across Germany and Poland, and also one time across Belgium in Bruxelles and across France in Strasbourg, quite successfully went right to us, but Paris - capital of the Europe, city which should be seen once even then easy to die, in any way was not yielded to us.
In the first trip we planned to reach Paris after Karlsruhe, but because of breakage of the car we turned home from Baden-Baden. Second time we tried to kill this bird next year, but it has slipped out hands in Bruxelles again after breakage of the car. Then we turned back, not having reached up to Paris any three hundred kilometers!
Two next years we did not think any more of Paris. First in Düsseldorf we were strongly upset by absence of «aus» at Archer's tests. And in Karlsruhe we have reduced the cultural program to next year because of intention to kill the third bird about whom it will be told below. Thus, returning to idea to call in to Paris after Ulm was rather tempting, but self-confident. In fact until then Paris remained unattainable dream!
The third bird is a visiting the main dog sports action of a year - the world championship on training IPO. For this bird we hardly were not pursued in 2002 year when the championship took place in the German city of Kassel only a week later Sieger in Karlsruhe. I already worked a route, but Irina was brought down by her sports heads, having promised participation in the similar world championship on training Schutzhund in the Austrian city of Sсhtaer. Therefore we have decided to not go to Kassel for economy , but after returning to Moscow it has appeared, that no trip to Sсhtaer shines to Irina. So this bird safely slipped out our hands!
And here now, in 2003 year I suggested Irina to hope only on ourselves and to arrange hunting for three birds. Consistently having called in Sieger-2003 to Ulm, then - visit Paris with excursions, and, at last, to reach up to Belgian city of Vavre where should take place the world championship on IPO!
When I made such an offer, Irina, certainly, was happy, in fact possession even one of the listed birds, already would be happiness, and here it was offered to seize three happiness one behind another! Therefore the route of a trip was approved by her with enthusiasm. Further we should solve the numerous problems connected with a trip.

Having approached stadium, we found out, that all near parking places are hammered by the motor vehicles which arrived before us, and it is necessary to search for a place of a parking at a distance. We drived on parking and began to search for a place in a shadow. It managed to be made soon, and Irina, let Archer out from the car, began to brush him. Having put an exhibition chain on we went to the stadium. We approached to the tent of registration to declare the readiness for check of behaviour. But, far from it! We were waited with a unpleasant surprise.
Even in the morning in a hotel room, gathering on Sieger, I asked Irina to check up carefully, whether all the necessary she took on the stadium, keeping in mind, first of all - documents. When already at the stadium she began to collect a bag, I paid attention to her fussiness and confusion, but wrote off this phenomenon on prestarting excitement. Now, when we stood at the tent and Irina in tenth time searched a bag in searches of yellow and dark blue pieces of paper which were given out to us at registration and without which it is impossible to leave on stadium on check, I have grown cold!
Up to our exit remained fifteen minutes, and there were not of the necessary documents ! Naturally, Irina accused me as she remembered, that she enclosed documents in the catalogue, and in the evening before a dream I examined this catalogue, and, probably, left it on a bedside-table together with the documents enclosed in it. I denied this fact, as well remembered, that, leaving from a hotel room, I closely examined it and should notice the forgotten catalogue if it was remained on a bedside-table. I assumed, that Irina left the catalogue with documents in the car. But it was already impossible to reach parking place and to have time to return back for fifteen minutes . Then Irina suggested to run to judicial tent to ask duplicates. I run there to another side of the stadium through crowds of dog lovers surrounding stadium.
It was deserted in the tent . There were two women - assistants of judges at the registration little table. I addressed to one of them with the problem. It was necessary to explain somehow in English the problem. One more difficulty was that I precisely did not know which documents I searched for . Remembered only, that it was two leaflets - yellow and dark blue. Therefore I asked to give out to me other leaflets instead of lost .
Thus they didn't understand that I lost only a dark blue leaflet. Then one of women rummaged in boxes where documents on dogs were stored, she found t a dark blue leaf there and, smiling, stretched it to me. I seized it with pleasure, but asked a yellow leaf, showing, that it was remain less than ten minutes before check of behavior. They understood that I lost also a yellow leaf then they got a fright. The matter was that a dark blue leaf - the minor document. It entitles the assistant to a conductor of a dog to enter into a ring and to help at the description. It would be necessary already after check of behavior. And the yellow leaf was an estimated sheet for check. There should be all registration requisites of a dog, and the judge puts down an estimation of check of behavior in it.
Both women began to search hasty for a clean yellow leaf and when they found it, they addressed to me that I should told all requisites of the dog, and they could bring these data in a leaf. I, certainly, knew only a nickname, and I did not know many other things, that should contain in this leaf. There were seven minutes up to Irina's exit with Archer on a field of stadium. Then Germans have rushed to a computer, and found Asslan there in a database. They began to fill an estimated leaf. Already not only I shook with fear, that I should not be in time, but also they worried too. Having seized the filled leaf stretched to me, I rushed off back to Irina.

One minute prior to Asslan exit on check I gave Irina the extracted duplicates of documents. She was suspiciously quiet at this time, even it seemed to me, that she was assured that I should have time to solve this problem. There was no time to tell as I extracted the duplicate, Irina took Archer and presented to the judge the duplicate filled by hand. The judge allowed to enter into the store for dogs preparing check, and I sighed with simplification. In fact could leave absolutely on another. We would miss the exit, we would be disqualified, and all trip would be spoiled! But there was no time to think about it. I ran to tribunes to find the necessary foreshortening for videoshooting.
Irina with Archer seemed in a judicial corridor. The Stadium in Ulm concerning small. The football field was divided on two parts. On the one hand dogs of working class were checked , and on the other hand - hundinen. The most part of spectators concentrated around half of field where dogs were checked. Some thousand spectators simultaneously observed of checking . Therefore it would not be desirable to strike in a dirt the face - not for that we went so far !
This check was already the fourth for Archer . The first and the third passed excellent, and the second, in Düsseldorf, he broked. Therefore we had already both positive, and a negative experience in passage of this disturbing procedure. It would be desirable to repeat positive experience, and very much it would not be desirable to repeat negative! And, if I, being on tribunes, for excitement hardly constrained a shiver I represent that felt Irina and Archer, being on a football field before eyes of thousand spectators and strict judges.
In the meantime Irina with Archer directed to the main judge. Irina gave him the estimated leaf, he wrote down something in it and shook hands with Irina with a wish successfully to pass the test. Irina went to an initial position at an edge of a field, and Archer moved near to her. Having fixed him in an index point, Irina waited commands of the judge, and started passage of test.
First she passed with Archer some steps at command "beside" along the tense tape. Then Irina stopped, she set Archer and unhooked him. Further they went on at a command "beside" without hooking. The judge accompanied with them on a distance, marking quality of obedience of a dog. When the figurant jumped out of shelter in ten meters from Irina with Archer, Archer went to attack. For shares of second he overcame this distance, he jumped and seized a sleeve a full mouth. The figurant, having contacted a dog by inertia begun a turn to the left. Archer for an instant appeared in air, but confidently held a sleeve. The figurant, having unwrapped in three quarters of a turn, he started performance of "path", hanging above a dog and carrying out pressure on him, threateningly swinging a stack. Thus two normative impacts by a stack send on Archer's trunk.
So they moved from Irina twenty meters while the figurant did not stopped, showing, that he would not attack any more. Archer continued to hold strong a sleeve by all mouth. The judge appeared in several meters. He looked at Irina and allowed to give a command «аus». It was distributed shrill Russian "aus!!!" Having heard a command, a share of second Archer thought and though and unwillingly, released a sleeve. From the first attempt -we got «аus»! Half put was made!

The judge allowed Irina to approach a dog. At this time Archer recollected trainings and decided to execute "bow-wow!" While Irina went to him, he though without the big sports enthusiasm, but barked at the figurant. For Sieger's exhibition check, unlike competitive check, such "bow-wow!" was more than enough. When Irina was already in several steps, Archer slightly receded from the figurant on a step, continuing barking that there was no doubt, that he would seize a sleeve again. Irina approached closely, ordered "beside", and Archer directed away with her from the figurant to an initial position on frontal attack.

They send on the opposite side of a field to the central tribune. Irina set a dog, and the second figurant jumped out of another shelter, being on distance of width of a football field. Swinging a stack he run with shouts at Irina, and she ordered Archer to attack! Archer rushed off towards with the figurant. He overcame forty meters gallop, and jumped at the figurant, having turned in a shell, with all his power. The figurant, having accepted a dog on a sleeve, began to unwrap. Through a quarter of a turnover Archer' foot came off the ground and the following a quarter of a turnover he flied by air. Having touched with foots of the ground by inertia he soared up in air and flied by still a floor of a turnover!

So having made a full bend on 360 degrees, Archer showed all force and confidence of the bite. The figurant made some steps of "path", simulating impacts by a stack. Archer continued to keep a sleeve. Then the figurant stopped struggle. Irina on a command of the judges ordered "give", and Archer again let off a sleeve from the first command. Now it was possible finally to sigh easy!

Applause from tribunes were distributed. Someone in Russian loudly shouted "Well done!". Irina approached to the judge, he filled an "ill-starred" yellow leaf, entering there an estimation «ausgepraht, least up», that means « a dog is brightly expressed, lets off a sleeve». Then they went together to a final position where the judge on a microphone announces an estimation. Irina for excitement slipped noted on a grass a sign for the participant who finished check, and the judge had to correct her. Then she returned on a football field where heard together with thousand spectators to the result. It was her triumph! For the sake of this minute it was necessary to go two thousand kilometers, to suffer all inconveniences and to test experiences.

With happiness, Irina ran to an exit where she was met by Lena Aglicheva. She was the first who congratulated Irina with a victory. I began to get out from tribunes. My videoshooting was completed. Now during Moscow's long winters we can go through one more time this triumph, looking through videorecording. Near an exit from stadium I found out the heroes and congratulated both on successful performance!
