Anda is two towns apart from my town. It only requires an hour to go there, half the time I use up just to reach Panglao. We had no idea at all as to where the beaches in Anda are. We just relied on our sharp eyes, in spotting any signboard that directs us as to the whereabouts of these beaches. Sure we followed the track that leads to the beach. We ended up in five beaches, the longest and widest was in the town proper across the parish church. It was the easiest beach to reach as well. The rest necessitates a kilometer of duel with the rocky and muddy narrow track leading to the beach, leaving our motor clanking for minutes. If you wish to check out the beaches in Anda, better do it with your motor or car. Most of the beaches are still far from the highway but such a distance gives you time to marvel at the corn fields that abound in the area before you catch the breezes that waft up the shore. Because Anda has equally pretty beaches, I worry no more where to go when my gills beg for water and my scales clamor for sea breeze. As early as now I know where to set up my private bolt-hole when I’m old.
