One extremely surreal and mildly disturbing event took place a short walk from Piccadilly Circus. Il Pomodorino Italian restaurant became filled with VirtualTourist.com members from all over the globe. Europe, America, Asia and Australia were represented. Oops ...and Africa too, thanks for reminding me, Jen. After many months spent writing tips for this website I felt it my duty to check out what some of the virtual heroes and villains were like in real 'actual' life.

Some were utterly delightful and others were just plain scary ;-)

Hosts for the evening, keida84, Jenniflower and Lanca aka Mr Jenniflower. With all that handshaking, hugging, meeting and greeting I'm not quite sure whether they got around to the food.

VirtualTourist's youngest member, Arann, was excited to meet some of his personal heroes too. Here he sees the rosy cheeked, bearded gentleman, bouncing young ladies on his knee at the corner table and thinks he has met Father Christmas ;-)
