Pollon (Chiara) and the Olimpyc Flame

If you know Chiara (VT Pollon), you noticed for sure she's did not log on VT for so long.
She's not vanished, i met her in Verona tonight!
She joined the team of The Olimpic Flame, that is driving the Flame in (literally) every corner of Italy on the way of Torino, for the next to come Winter Olimpic Games.
The flame arrived in Verona tonight Jan 16th 2006, so i met her and had a meal out.
She is so busy in this new challenge... works nearly 24/24 7/7, but she met a lot of famous torchbearers (and many olympic gold medalists among them).
But she didn't forget of her VT friends!
She will be back for the Olympics.

The comet star

The comet star of Verona

The Arena hosts, from Xmas time to febrruary, an exposition of nativity scenes (cribs) from all over the world. Someone thought that it would be great to have a big comet star indicating it... and the steel manufact liked so much, that it "comes out" of the Arena every year....
here is a steady picture of it, as seen from the gardens of Piazza Bra.
