"My parents 50th Wedding Anniversary" by St_Vincent

New Years Eve 2005 was a special one in our family and specifically for my parents as it was their 50th wedding anniversary. I have therefore put a few photos of the occasion on this site primarily to share them with friends and family. Although it did not look as if it would be possible because of work commitments etc. we did all manage to get together for a family meal, something we had not been able to do for a number of years. Even so we still had to contend with my brother-in-law's car breaking down just as they were about to set out for the five hour journey from St. Austell to London. However we all managed to make it and had a wonderful family meal at a local restaurant.

Not the best photo, and I'm not sure why I have my eyes closed, but it's the only one that (just about) includes us all, except my niece Sophie (almost 12) who was our photographer.
