Crabbing must be done in spring from about 3am to 5am. This is the time where they come up to the shallow shores to mate. By law, we have to release the crabs that are smaller than a certain size. A good idea to preserve the gifts of nature.

This is what we did to the crabs :) Three styles of cooking---- pepper crabs, chilli crabs and "ABC" crabs. At times, I missed the dinners we had together....though not as delicious as the famous restaurant, sometimes it is the company....even Kaya Bread can become a Feast.

Penguin Island is where King Penguins live. I dont understand why they are called King Penguins. They are so "Ka Te". In the past, I thought we can only see penguins in very very cold regions like the Artic "the results of visiting the zoo". But actually most species dont live there :) A very nice island to visit especially during spring--enjoy nature to the fullest....Mating shows....Picnic without the bush fires....Walking on sand bars from the main land to the island.."at your own risk"

Admisssion is restricted by law. Seals in Seal Island are protected species. Sail close to them and you can observe the seals in their natural habitat, fighting for space to sunbathe. 3 cheers for environmentalists.

Wherever there are pelicans, there are fish. You can see the pelicans swooping down for their catch and feasting them while basking in the sun on top of the cliff. Who says birds cant enjoy life.

Jump or not to jump is the question. Why are we asking penguins to perform when they are supposed to be protected? hehehe---err--it is the chicken n egg question.

You can see flocks of them circling round with a leader. Wonderful experience. Cant see in Singapore!! Maybe only planes queueing for landing.

Sunset or sunrise. I cant make out the difference in pics. But it signifies a different feel in the eyes of the beholder. Actually, I give up already....Have never see a clear sunrise from the horizon.
