This is my husband Bill. He won't travel - nothing I try works. He loves the mountains and hiking but trips to Iceland, the Shetlands and Switzerland just could not convice him to apply for a passport. I think he prefers going hiking and backpacking with our Black Lab Reilly. He might also need to stay home to keep Scout, our orange tabby, out of trouble. I've learned to say "Bye dear, see you in four weeks. Have quality time with the dog and the cat!".
Here he is with Carson who we lost in April 2004. |
| | Bill, Carson (lab) and Ramona (cat) Here they are watching TV together.
We lost Ramona in Nov 2003 at about 18 years of age We lost Carson in April 2004 a week short of his 11th birthday |
| | Scout and Reilly Our two newest family members. Scout came to live with us in March 2004 and Reilly in May 2004.
Lucky for us they became best friends immediately. |
| | Scout the Clown Scout came from the California Feline Foundation and had developed a pretty checkered past in the space of the 7 short months before he came to live with us. He continues in his quest to use up all 9 lives and tempt death by risky behavior. But he has survived so far with the help of my pocketbook and a very good vet. He seems to be maturing and settling down - we hope this process continues. He is a load of fun and a real little devil. |
| | Reilly the Bed Hog This gorgeous boy came to us through Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue. His original family had lost interest in him and decided the best thing they could do would be to find him a good home. They placed him through Lab Rescue and we were the extremely lucky family that adopted him. |
| | Tummy warmer or butt warmer - you decide. I found the boys in bed together one morning - actually they sleep together a lot - but this was one of those special moments when you run for the camera and set it up as quietly and quickly as possible. Is Scout (cat) a furry butt warmer or is Reilly (dog) a hairy tummy warmer - you decide. |
| | It's mine Tuna Breath - stay away |
| Just try to take it away from the claw! |
| | Possession is 9/10ths of the Law Dog Breath! |
