It is also posible to volunteer with the local women's group in Picalqui. The women meet twice a week (Tuesday and Thursdays). Usually the spend the time discussing organizational issues or making different kind of products that they can sell later (shirts, scarfs, etc). They are very interested in all kinds of information, work shops, or projects. If you have any ideas of projects, they would be happy to discuss it with you. Or you can just enjoy their company!
