As part of my project in social geography, I made this map of the landscapes of my childhood home the way I remember everything. This map is not about exact scales and measurements, it's about what was important in my life then as seen through the eyes of my inner child. There was a creek near my home. Here on the map, it appears from nowhere and ends just as suddenly because I never knew where it came from or where it went. It just was there and we loved to play there.
I'm glad I had some old pictures because many of the places look very different today. People should really take more pictures of their everyday environment because everything is changing so rapidly.
