The original ship went down in 1745 with all it's treasures just outside of Gothenburg. It had just returned from it's long journey from China. It was all forgotten until divers found it and the dream of doing it all over again was brought to life.

|  | The building of this new version of G?theborg was started in 1995 and 10 years later it sailed off. It seemed like everybody in Gothenburg found their way down to the habour and everywhere else where you could see the ship. They couldn't have asked for a nicer day to sail off. |
