"VT Meetings" Top 5 Page for this destination Copenhagen Travelogue by Sjalen

As much of my VT life has been during my time working in Copenhagen and I live nearby, this is where most of my VT meetings have taken place. It also happens to be a very lively VT place, much thanks to Claus (cachaseiro) who is VT's own grapevine personality :))) Thanks to him, I am always updated on who is dating who or going where on VT. Rasmus (razmatac), Allan (TheView) and Jon (jonkb) are other frequent attendees to our meetings when VT members come to town.

22 July 2006 was one of those crazy days of my life - it was spent mainly here: http://www.halvandet.dk/ and in a Copenhagen park barbecueing, as organisers Claus, Rasmus and Allan made our day. Thanks to this, I also got to meet Win (rhineroll), Jo (Jo104), JulesH, June (poons), Donna (Acirfa), Ingrid (Igraine), Jesper (JRU), Mark (flyingkiwi), Macke (RexBibendi), Walter (Roggeveen), Lisbet (L.K), Marit (Rusket), Elge(Backpackermoose) and Kathy (kathynyc). Did I forget anyone? We had great fun during the visit 25 November 2005, when none other than Sabsi paid us a visit and found her own cafe. :)

No wonder I felt a bit rough the following morning...!

My smallest VT meeting so far was also in November 2005, when all other locals were travelling and I was at home to receive the deptlads. Still, this was one of the nicest meetings since they have been my VT friends for long and Scandophiles as they both are, they have been to both Copenhagen and Stockholm before and I have always just missed them.

18 October 2005, I met two VT-ers and one was even a completely new member. Brooke from NJFamily was in Copenhagen for business and Wendy01 had just moved there to work.

The weirdest VT meeting I've been to must have been when Brad came to see us in June 2005. I mean, just look at where he holds his hand here...:))) Luckily, I was still in the office when this one was taken (hubby took it) but I met them later in Christiania. Them being those two, Jon, Arne (vagabonden) and Rasmus (razmatac). Claus even has a special travelogue about this meeting on his Copenhagen page. I have some more pics under my Christiania tip.

2 April 2005, Larry (littlesam) came to Copenhagen with a friend and this needed a meeting (which ended in Claus' cafe of course). Especially as LauraKS also arrived in Europe the same day! Jon and I with my family caught one of the last trains back to Sweden that night...also see photo below.

During this meeting we decided to create something completely new in VT history - a message in a bottle...:))) Unfortunately, Claus forgot to bring it to Verona which was the original plan. My six-year-old found a new career as a waitress.

I have also met: Reza (travelife) and for the first time (of many by the look of it) Holger (HORSCHECK) at the 22 March 2004 Copenhagen meeting with Claus and Jon.
