The little fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife are lovely and worth visiting. Alexander Selkerk, the writer of Robinson Crusoe was born in Upper Largo. |
The ruins of Dunfemline Palace - where KIng Malcolm married Queen Margaret look out over the wonderfully green and cool Pittencrief Park. The park was bought by Andrew Carnegie and opened to the public (he was not allowed in as a boy). |
Glamis Castle - the childhood home of the Queen Mother Queen Elizabeth the second - is lovely. |
