One of the nicest things to do on holiday is to sit and relax with an evening drink and enjoy the sunset. We did plenty of that on our holiday on Pulau Tioman, a small rustic Island off the coast from Kuala Lumpur.

Perth Beach sunset

We are very lucky to live close to the beach.

Perth has the most amazing sunsets..... especially if there is a bit of cloud in the sky.

A common pasttime for Perthians in summer is to take the kids, snacks, drinks and camping chairs down to the beach and enjoy the sunset with the family :o)

Sunrise top end of Australia

Of course sunrises can be just as stunning!!

Hubby & I experienced this view up the very top end of Australia on the 2008 vt Survivor trip.

How gorgeous is that!! :o)

You wouldn't want to go swimming here though.... this is croc territory.

Quite often the hues after sunset are just as gorgeous as the sunset itself.

We took Shirene (appleseed81) down to our local beach when she came for a visit and this is what I captured after we enjoyed the sunset :o)

Moon at Sunset

As luck has it, I just happened to capture the moon one day just after sunset.

Now the moon is another story :o) Don't you just love a full moon on a clear night! :o) .....If I get enough decent pictures.....might even do a travelogue on that one day....so stay tuned :o)
