Teehaus

Ruins of the Teehaus

The Teehaus was one of Hitler's favourite places to visit and he would stroll to it during the afternoon and be taken back to the Berghof by car afterwards. The building survived the bombing of April 1945 but was destroyed in 1951 because of its association with Hitler.

Ruins of the Teehaus

To get to the ruins of the Teehaus you should have a look at this website for the route which is not signposted.

This was another favourite place of Hitler's because of the views. A number of photographs were taken of Hitler standing by the rail with various members of the Nazi Party.

An interesting place to visit, now that it is harmless! Sounds like you managed to get some good exercise while there. Thanks for the interesting photos of what is left of the Berchtesgaden.
