Wow...Scott Podsednik? I thought that ball was an off-the-wall double, a triple at best. But as it sailed through the outfield, it just kept carrying. And when it landed over the fence for only the 14th walk-off home run in World Series history, there was complete silence in the stadium for about 1 second. I don't think anyone in there believed what they were seeing either. But the celebration that followed was nothing that I have ever seen at a Sox game... |

Nice to finally meet up with you at a Black Hawks game. This was year 3 of our fall tour of Chicago. I suppose three times is a charm. Funny how we ended up sitting in the same section and row. |
