Go Figure...

Yep, The Esso Station
In every Country, there's a special architectural styling that has a purpose, historical or otherwise, specific to the environment. Bermuda is no exception. (As I've said before) Bermuda has a *very* limited fresh water system, thus, water is collected from the roofs, and stored in underground 'cisterns'. When the water runs out, you guessed it, you can purchase water to refill said cisterns (and it ain't cheap).
ACE re-Insurance

ACE

This is one of the newest Commercial buildings in downtown Hamilton. It's also on the largest plot of land. ACE Insurance (or, rather, re-insurance) makes the 'big-bucks', and seeing as though they could pull out of Bermuda in a week, and re-coup their investment in about a month, the building of this monument is a 'drop in the bucket' comparitively. It's right across the street from Bank of Bermuda (Par-La-Ville), and really is worth taking a look at.

Note the "Moon-Gate" entry way on the left. This is *very* traditional Bermudian architecture.

Houses on the Hill

Bermuda is an amazing place, and the living is equally stunning. Most of these houses are situated on the hill-side, and are subsequently affected by the weather. My house is on the North Shore (on the coast), and I get by with not many problems (power still goes out, but that's part of the game).
Hell, I dunno

Interesting reading about Bermuda. When the Tall Ships came into Brisbane, Australia, 1000's of people, including me, went to see them, what a sight!
