| Singapore River that night |
Being the early birds, three of us ( TheNanyangChinaman, Minanga and myself) got into the wrong patio. Only upon ordering a hearty concoction of drinks did we realize we were not in TCC [the coffee connoisseur] as planned. But this patio really got the better chairs. Handsome wooden chairs. Like those in Goldilocks. And so not to miss the VTers, we took turns to peek next door for lost sheep ; ) There were not many VTers tonight as it was a Monday evening. Altogether we were icyjo24, TheNanyangChinaman, dimanche, myself sha_stallion and hubby Minanga and guest flyingkiwi. |
It turned out pretty easy to spot our guest the flyingkiwi. He was overly tall. But the funny thing really was that he had been making the journey with both icyjo24 and dimanche from the north train all the way walking on Clarke Quay and yet he didn't know the two girls ahead of him were VTers! ; ) Perhaps the two girls should have walked behind him instead as he had the VT logo on his backpack! hehehheheh |
Well, here's the best staying factor for Asylum. This strawberry mocktail. It's very refreshing to get a mocktail when you don't take cocktails! ; ) Yet another good point about this place is its high-energy music. In fact, they seem to be playing almost underground! I say almost because it still could maintain a relaxed dining experience, yet strong enough to make this place rock! |
After some drinks, we had this mini football ceremony. Despite all the luggage this tall man carried, he managed to squeeze a magazine for the football mania dimanche hehehhh |

| in the eastbound MRT to Changi Airport |
It was really a tight planning for flyingkiwi. He took the bus from KL to Singapore earlier this very day, hopped into the MRT at Kranji and was with us at 7.30pm. Only having to leave by 10.30pm to check in his next flight. Good thing Minanga and myself stay close to the airport. After the VT Meet, we took the MRT together. Thanks for the meet flyingkiwi! May you take flight always : ) We'll be in touch. |
