Patience is a virtue

Just the best thing

Bend ze knees
There is nothing like seeing animals in the wild. It really is the greatest thrill, worth all the waiting. And wait and be patient you must. We sat by this waterhole in Kruger National Park for ages and were rewarded when this huge giraffe came down to drink.
Blue wildebeeste

Who's looking at who here?

Sometimes you wonder.
Love the pyjamas

Travelling together

Zebra often move with wildebeeste - see one and you are very likely to see the other.
I'm out of here

Not all animals are so obliging

Some just won't turn around no matter how long you wait.
Vervet

Small is beautiful

Little creatures are all part of the great plan too.
Look at me

The birds are wonderful as well

We stopped for a picnic at Tshokwane and were immediately joined by a family of hornbills who just knew we'd come to see them.
Graceful impala

Some animals are everywhere

These are almost certainly the animal you will see most. Beautiful, graceful creatures. - you can be sure of seeing them wherever you are in the park.
Follow me children.

Others wait...

...until you are leaving before they decide to show themselves. We thought warthogs were going to evade us until, right by the gate, just as we were leaving, a whole family trotted across the road in front of us.
