"My first VT meeting!!!!" by adelaidean

As we were already travelling to Queensland, I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to meet my good friend Tattugran and her husband Verne..I asked them what they thought of the idea...and presto...a two day visit was arranged...We drove to their house with a real Aussie bush map in hand...and finally found the correct service station to lead to their home...We arrived and they raced outside to greet us..and it was like seeing old friends!!! I felt as if I had known Vicky for ages..we got along so well.

As we walked into their home, Vicky said "Deb, this is Anne"....I couldnt believe that another great friend had travelled from Melbourne to surprise me...Anne12 is one amazing person!!! And all my Aussie VT friends knew about it and didnt let on!!! I felt very honoured that they thought enough of me to give me such a fantastic surprise!!!!Thanks guys so much.....

We spent 24 wonderful hours together, having great Aussie BBQs and breakfasts, and of course for those who know Anne and I....lots of wine.
We met Vickys wonderful grandchildren, and what a delight they were..We spend hours laughing and it was as if I had known them all for many years...My husband Bob and Vickys husband Verne got on like a house on fire...so it was a fantastic,memorable time...Thanks so much Vicky for having us...Cant wait for the next time....
