VT Meetings - Welcomming guests in Budapest Pt. 2

by MedioLatino - last update: Nov 2, 2005

Cevher, Attila (yes, me :) and Baran

VT meeting with Cevher and Baran

On the 3rd of June 2005 I have met VT member cevher (who's name by the way is actually Cevher :) and her husband Baran.

We have spent a good hour in Etno Café and Lounge's open air part, had a nice chat, exchanged some info and I was very glad to see my own tips printed out in Cevher's hand :)

Thanks for this meeting guys, I was glad to meet you, wish you a happy life again and hope to see you...maybe in Turkey soon! :)
The whole bunch together :)

A whole bunch of nice people :)

A special VT meeting with members from around the world and from the closest neighborhood! :)

On the 28th of June 2005 (thus 2 days ago :) I had the chance to meet 6 VT-ers and 4 other friends in one of my favourite restaurants around: Menza.

Let's see who was there:
nhcram (Natalie) and chrishc (Chris) from Dover (UK)
jo_b50 (Jo) and her partner (so sorry to forgot your name...:) from Worchester (UK)
csutiluca (Eva) from Budapest (H)
shirez (Rea) from Budapest (H) with two friends/colleagues: Nora and Eszter
Dr.Knockboot (Daniel) from Toronto (CA) and his friend from Boston
And of course I was there too :)

We had some nice food, wine/beer, etc...and I certeanly had a great time! :)

Sorry guys that I had to leave you "early" (at 11 something pm after 5 hours spent together...:)! Hope to see you again! :)

Kadie (Kadybay on VT) and Beth

7th of July 2005 - What an excellent invitation! I have never been to Paprika before, even though it's close to my flat...it was Kadie who said it's worth a try! She is only here for a month so far but already shows around friends in the city! Excellent job Kadie! ;)

More on Paprika in my restaurant tips.

Fiona (VT Parsix) and Alexa

What a great night! After some missunderstandings concerning the meeting place, we finally got to meet! We went to one of my favourite "easygoing" restaurants (Kaos Café) and then into the night (UjBuda Part, A38 ship...) with the venezuela ambassadors :)

Attila, Thanks for your wonderful recommendations and photos of Budapest. I am visiting Budapest in June with a friend. Are there any new or especially interesting restaurants near the Kempinski Hotel? Thanks. Sincerely, Martha

Hi Attila - your comment reached me when I was already on the way to Budapest. But I'll be on some low-cost trips later this year and surely I'll repeat Budapest, if possible! Have a nice day - Karl
