| | Here are some pictures of the food that I cooked during a year’s stay overseas. Some are familiar home dishes while others are just experimental ideas. Cooking can be quite fun and satisfying. But I probably won’t be doing much cooking when I get back to Singapore, until I have my own kitchen. ^_^ |
What is this? Tea, spices and lots of garlic is used to season the soup and the choice of meat is usually pork with bones. You can buy pre-packaged seasoning packs in supermarkets, that's the type I used to make my soup. It makes a good dish in winter.
| | | Prawns cooked with onions and tomatoes |
|
| T-B: Onion prawns, Chilli prawns, Mixed vegetables |

A basic necessity You won't miss this anywhere in Singapore. There will have at least a food stall selling it in any local eating place such as hawker centres, food courts and coffee-shops. Mine is a poor version of the real stuff.
