THE BIG 5 & Three related primates!!!

by Wafro - last update: Feb 29, 2008

This one is taken in the Massi Mara Reserve in Kenya, he just get laid.
He looks like a real King and I think he enjoyed it, Look at his face!

Elephant

When you click the link below, you can find some information about the African elephant.

Leopard

A caged leopard in Niokolo Koba National Park(Senegal).
They said it was an orphan, let us hope they release him on time.
They look so much prettier in the wild.

Buffalos

When you click the African Wildlife link, you can find some other wild animals.

Rhinos

Did you know that the horn of the rhino is more than 5000€ worth and did you know that the wage of an average African family is about 5€. That’s why thousands of rhinos have been killed the past decades.
Easy Money, isn't it?

Chimp

Who is observing Who?

Gorilla

This was one of the highlights*of all my Africa experiences.
After several weeks in the Cameroonian rainforest my patience paid off.
Five different lowland Gorilla encounters in four days.
By the way, this gorilla tracking isn’t the same as mountain gorilla spotting.
Thanx Lobéké for the magnificent time.

IanThe Bushman

NO no, this isn’t what you think.
We just had a break and we’re packing our gear.
We only use the rifle in case of emergency, for scaring away elephants, forest buffalos…
