"We are all Stars... My VT Meeting..." by Tripack

For my first VT meeting, I met a Southern Cross Star... Jo aka jo104 on VT during a quick trip in London.

This first VT meeting was great fun in June 2006, even if on the picture below I look serious (others have been censored... ;-) I could (re)explore my old student addresses on Muswell Hill where I used to go out during an English course in Highgate en 1997. Almost 10 years after the place (Church Pub) seems to be the same but with younger people... Second stop to The Village where everything has been refurbished but the beer taste the same hopefully ;-)

Thanks to the local VTer's ambassador JO I discover and taste Savanna Cider (with a surprising sweet lemon taste) . She even managed to find a fine South African red wine (not disclosed on the wine list). Enough fuel to speak about travels, good place in London and have fun.

Remember (it is because I write down this here;-) that you should visit me in the Swiss Alps to discovery some local tasteful activities as wine from Valais, Swiss chocolate and above all fresh snow!!!

Life is not chocolate everyday, so get one's teeth into as much as possible!

For my second VT meeting I met Yumyum from Switzerland and HORSCHECK from Germany for a barbecue with view on the Swiss Alps (do not ask for the restaurant address)...

They were exploring the Swiss Canton du Valais and stop in my town Sion for a couple of days, so a good excuse to have a little party almost in the puriest Valais tradition as the Fendant (famous local white wine) was missing!

And for sure, I will brush up my German knowledge... Bis bald!
