manchester united had a very famous humble(contradictory :P) beginning. if it wasn't for these railway workers, there would never have been a manchester united football team. so these are our footballing ancestors really. kudos to them.

the night we completed the treble.a night that would be forever etched in my memory. i mean FOREVER. 6th minute yea...this german guy scores from nothing. an absolutely innocent-looking free kick. and i was left praying crying my heart out for the players' frustration. the phrase "so near yet so far" never had more meaning. and then.........SHERINGHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at 33 years of age where most footballers are getting ready to retire...he scores the bloody equalising goal!!!!!SOLSKJAER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was it.......i almost passed out. 2 goals in 2 minutes....we had done it. the unprecedented treble......that year Bayern Munich were actually fighting to complete a treble too. imagine if we had let them win it. having won the treble, it doesn't even matter how many times other clubs have won the champions league or the Premiership or the FA Cup or even the World Cup.........the thing is Manchester United are the only team to have won the treble............:D

this is the man I have the utmost respect for. he's been with the club through highs and lows.....but the treble got him knighted and that's enough said. :D

seeing Philip Neville in a blue shirt just makes me feel uncomfortable all over. imagine playing against the club where you have been since forever at the first match of the season and against your older brother at that! but that's football. players come and go. especially in the football world....where loyalty doesn't seem to any power over the temptation of huge amounts of money. I really appreciate that players such as keano, scholesy, gary neville and giggsy all have not given up on man utd during tough times. much is to be seen about the new generation of red devils. especially phenomenal players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. Barely out of their teens, they're tantalizing defences and scaring the hell out of opposition defenders. They bring a new level of excitement and passion to the crowd each time they play. the future of Manchester United is burning bright.................:D

i admit i started out fancying david beckham so much i didn't even take notice of this ginger-haired cutie but he has really developed into one of my obsessions. he is such a commoner when not on the pitch, so hardworking, so not afraid to tackle and he's so quick he's referred to the dodger by some players from other clubs. he has just signed a four year deal which is just the best news for the club. oh my scholesy! oh my beloved scholesy!
