My hometown, Nire Herria/Aberria

I have to explain that although, this city is extremely busy during Easter and August, the rest of the year is a very quiet town.
You can eat really good food. It is well known for the restaturants and male private clubs.
THe picture you see represents the "wild" temperament of the basq people. THe waves "became crazy" several times a year. THey can be as high as 14 meters. Beautiful!

This is the last of the 3 beaches you can find within the city. This is on the way out of San Sebastian. There are several things you can do aside from goin g to the beach:
Visit an amusament park called Igueldo. The views of the city from here are magnificent. The amusament park... , Tennis Club, Visit to the summer palace of the royals.

Kursaal

Gros and Kursaal , Gros eta Kursaala

MY family lives near the beach of Gros.
There is to be the Gran Casino del Kursaal, beautiful building. THey have, recentely, built a monument/building by Rafael Moneo.
Several Entertainment activities take place there: San Sebastian Film Festival (during the month of September), Quincena Musical (during the month of August), other conventions.
In front of the building there is a wonderful beach called Gros. On the right side you can find the mountain of Ulia, I used to live there 20 years of my life. The youth hostel is there.
