My 5 year old grandson thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the botanical garden. Here he is in the Kids Garden riding a cow. Does that make him a real cowboy? If you look closely you can see that the cow has a toothbrush in her "hand". Whimsey is one of the features of the kids garden. |
| | Lots of trains The current special exhibit at the garden is called "Locomotion in the Garden" and features an impressive layout of tracks, bridges, trestles, underpasses and buildings with about 8 different trains in constant motion. Here is Jake admiring one of them from a high point. |
More trains through the flowers, past the little building and into the tunnel.
| | A train on high. Someone went to a lot of work to construct this whole exhibit and Jake and I thoroughly enjoyed it. |
There was even a single car trolly making the rounds. I found the little buildings attractive.
| | Some of the buildings like this one left of the tracks are representations of real structures in Atlanta. |
