Hello, my name is Carys and this is my life in pictures so far.

I was due to arrive in April, 2005 but I just couldn't wait! So I dropped in six weeks early, in February. Here I am just minutes after I got my first look at this big, bright world. I weighed 5lbs 8oz and was 18in long.

I spent eight days in intensive care, to be sure I was strong enough to go home. My mommy and daddy visited me LOTS. Here I am with my momma. We love each other an awful lot.

Once I got home, it didn't take long for me to get out and about. Of course, one of the first places I went was to RFK Stadium for a DC United soccer game. I don't remember much . . . I slept! Now I stay awake (most of the time) and look at all the exciting things going on.

In those early weeks, I really needed my sleep. Do I know how to relax or what? My Aunt Marcie couldn't believe it! But it was a warm spring day, I was in some loving arms, and hey . . . sleep happens!

All that sleep must have helped me get stronger, because now I can hold up my head and look around. Wow, things look different from here!

Here we all are on the Fourth of July. I had to get a special outfit to wear to my Aunt Carol & Uncle Rossie's big picnic. I had lots of fun and everyone was happy to see me.
