On the beach at Penticton lies the preserved steam paddlewheeler, SS Sicamous which plied the waters of Okanagan Lake for many years carrying freight and passengers. It's open daily to the public for tours. |

| | This orchard just north of Osoyoos was so loaded with fruit that it was falling to the ground in the slightest breeze. I bought a couple of 10 pound cases for a mere $ 7.50 each. Peaches were just coming to market. |

| | This is the tower that makes up the core of the Burrowing Owl Vineyards. The spiral stairway leads from the basement cave/ ageing cellars to the top, 7 stories above for an incredible panorama of the vineyards and valley below stretching to Osoyoos a few miles to the south. |
