These buildings make for a creepy yet great photo op!
I was unsure of why these buildings were labeled as unsafe until I got this picture developed.
I am standing straight on, but the building is sinking to the left. |
| | Windows Some of the windows in the buildings were left open. I'm not sure why. |
| | Roofs Many shingles and holes are forming on the top of several of the buildings. |
| | Round Buildings I'm not really sure why some of the asylum buildings are round. |
| | Interior This is a shot inside one of the windows left open to the air. Several of my photos showed personal effects left behind after the closing. |
| | Interior Interior shot of the shower room. |
| | Exterior Playground There is something super creepy about a slowly turning merry-go-round outside a boarded up asylum. |
| | Front Door This broken lantern hangs outside the front door of the main building. To me it is one of the best examples of what happens to abandonded buildings. |
