Bio-tech Park Asylum

by Sagespot - last update: Jul 21, 2005

The Main House

Asylum
These buildings make for a creepy yet great photo op!

I was unsure of why these buildings were labeled as unsafe until I got this picture developed.

I am standing straight on, but the building is sinking to the left.
Asylum

Windows

Some of the windows in the buildings were left open. I'm not sure why.
Asylum

Roofs

Many shingles and holes are forming on the top of several of the buildings.
Asylum

Round Buildings

I'm not really sure why some of the asylum buildings are round.
Asylum

Interior

This is a shot inside one of the windows left open to the air. Several of my photos showed personal effects left behind after the closing.
Asylum

Interior

Interior shot of the shower room.
Asylum

Exterior Playground

There is something super creepy about a slowly turning merry-go-round outside a boarded up asylum.
Asylum

Front Door

This broken lantern hangs outside the front door of the main building. To me it is one of the best examples of what happens to abandonded buildings.

Tatnuck Bookseller Restaurant was indeed wonderful and I miss it very much but, alas, it is gone forever, having closed at the beginnilng of the year. You should remove this review.
