It was really this color! I lived in a high rise in Belltown for several years and couldn't resist taking pictures of the beautiful sunsets. Those are the Olympic Mountains in the background. |

Rays of Light Most of the Olympic Mountains are covered by clouds, but the sun set right behind the northern-most mountain (which means this was near Summer Solstice) creating these beautiful rays of light that appear to be coming from behind the mountain. |
Sunset Weather Change The clouds are moving out just as the sun is setting for a beautiful veiw of the Olympica Mountains, Elliott Bay and Seattle Center. |
Winter Sunset This sunset was during December - the sun sets much farther south. That little blur in the middle is one of the many Seattle-area auto / passenger ferries. |
