To day Ihave been going through my old photoalbumns. I am going to get some of them digitalized.
I;m old enough to remember when we didn't have computers.One of my first jobs was reading holes in punchcards for a computer that took up a whole room. I got so bored one day, that I emptied all the cards into the middle of the room and left.I wasn,t always like that however,you will be glad to know.
In my youth,about 8 years old. I went from Wellington , New Zealand to England on one of the first commecial airflights to England. It took about 10 days. Everywhere we stopped was a part of the British Empire.There we about fifty passengers,we had a sleepingbirth as well as a seat,a proper restaurant ,where a waiter served you meals, a lounge for cocktails and it was about 4 stories high,It was a very comfortable way to fly. I wish somehow, they could do it now because 24 hrs in a plane packed like a sardine aint no fun
