Early July 2005 will always be remembered as the time when the Wagners and Conrads took North Bend State Park, in West Virginia by storm for another family reunion.
Though we had a few faces missing this time around, it didnt stop us from having a kick ass time in the our enchanted forest.
The best part about this reunion, is that very few, including my parents, knew that i was making the trip from Australia to take part. Lets just say for a second i thought i flew half way around the world to kill my parents by nearly giving them a heart attacks when i woke them up at 7am to suprise them. |
Our Log Cabins One of the many cabins that the our family occupied during our week long reunion. I dont think the deer and racoons got much sleep that week. I heard even the squirls filled noise compliants that week against us. |
Hitting the Trails North Bend State Park was loaded with miles of trails that snaked their way through and around the surrounding forest. |
Cairo West Virginia It wasnt hard to get the whole town of Cairo West Virginia into one shot. The neighboring town to the state park, it wasnt long to word got around the whole town that there were some visitors from Hawaii in the area. The town was really that small. |
Only in West Virgina OK i am sure you can find these things in many small towns throughout America and around the world. But this was my first time seeing a real bear fur carpet. Poor bugger! |
Some of the family Cousins Ashley, Kira, and Aunty Teri take a second to smile for their favorite relative from Australia. |
