"People and places from my country" by Mailo

These are the boys and girls of my country, walking without shoes, selling flowers, they are the poor ones but they are soooo happy. Honduras has Atlantic and Pacific oceans. See my people here.
This main picture shows two boy who live in the pacific coast of Honduras, very poor people, you can see behind them an island (Amapala), it has the shape of a volcano but.. it is not!.... but close to it in El Salvador And Nicaragua (just a few miles away) mountais like this are volcanos and are aligned with this island.. sooo... ?. it is not a volcano Yet!

This road conects several important places of Honduras... it goes from Tegucigalpa to San Pedro Sula (the two main cities of the country) and in the way you pass througth Comayagua (colonila city and first capital of the country), Siguatepeque (sorruonded by pine trees) and many other small places, it connect the pacific ocean with the atlantic ocean.

Traveling to San Pedro Sula (Industrial city of Honduras) by car is quite an adventure, the road has it's own dificulties, then you can stop and relax. It is not a theme park, it is only a fountain or cascade in a restorant where we had lunch, located in the city of Siguatepeque.

Not paved road take you to some great places as this national park near my cityhome, here som pics of the road.
