I was so excited about returning to PD after I received the letter from the management of Avillion... It's not only because of the free accomodation but to find out if the management have taken steps to improve the service level of the resort...

We drove up to PD again and I was still all excited about the driving adventure... Heehee... Time to give my ride another big test... I guess it does enjoy the high speed test... hahahaa...

Only this time, my ride seems to be sick... It got shaky at 140km/h and above so we didn't really push its potential this time.. Driving at only 130km/h on average throughout the journey.. :(

Again, the malaysian drivers practised good road manners and I really enjoyed driving on their highway... No road hoggers or road bully... 2-thumbs up!

We took 4 hours to reach the resort from Singapore...

We reached PD at 12 noon and was told that our room was not ready and we were led to the karaoke room to watch a movie... We chose to watch Triple X and the people were nice and welcoming...

Guess the management really took my comments seriously the last time.. :)

Our room was ready after an hour and they even sent my luggage to the room... We went to our room after we finished watching the movie...

We were surprised to see a fruit basket on the table with a welcome letter from the Managing Director... How nice of the management... That was great!

We were given VIP treatment throughout our stay.... :)

Oh.. Did I mentioned that we were given the Premium Water Chalet stay??.. The only different from the Standard Water Chalet is that the view from our balcony is not blocked by any other chalets.. It was facing the sea and it was very windy...All other amenities in the room were the same...

Dinner at Crow's Nest

We decided to drive up to KL in the afternoon and were getting ready to leave when I realised that some cash in my luggage were missing... My bf called the Director of F&B, Gared, (the one who is supposed to assist us during our stay) immediately.. We suspected that the cash must have been stolen when the luggage was sent to our room..

We were very upset that such thing happened in the resort.. So, we lodged a police report about the missing cash.. We spent about an hour at the police station and they sent an investigating officer to our room to take some photographs... **I actually wanted to take pictures of them while doing their investigations in my room but find that it may be inappropriate** :p....

It was already late by the time they finish so we decided to go KL the next day...

Gared felt bad that this has happened to us, and this is the first time that it has happened in the resort, that he gave us a free dinner... Well, not bad as a compensation... So, my bf decided to go to the most expensive restaurant in the resort, the Crow's Nest... Okay, he's abit pissed cause it's his money that went missing and felt that he must make them 'pay' him back... We chose the most expensive items in the menu and the bill chalked up to about RM$260, just for dinner for two...
**We were so mean**....

Impressively, the case was closed after 2 days.. The investigation officer did his investigation immediately after he left our room and even held a suspect (the bell boy) on the night itself.. The bell boy admitted stealing the money and we were told that he was terminated by the management, jailed for a month and fined RM$1000 for his deed... We were glad that justice has been done... However, we still couldn't take our money back as the office was closed on the day we checked out.. We were told that we can come and collect the money the next time we happened to pass-by PD...

Now I felt so bad about the expensive dinner that we had...

Avillion's Standard Water Chalet

I really enjoyed my stay at Avillion this time... Although we had a bad incident, we were pleased that Gared, his people and the police had solved the case effficiently...

We were given special treatment this time and the service at the restaurant was fast and efficient.. I didn't really notice any unfair treatment between the guests so I guess they must have really made some improvements in their service..

Their big pool was still not so clean as there were some dead leaves and small branches in the pool but it's not as bad as the last time... The condition of the pool is acceptable to me...

When we checked-out, we were surprised when we were told that there's no bill to be paid... The receptionist told us that all our bills have been settled by Gared... Woohoo!!... But we didn't really spend alot at the resort.... Just breakfasts and crabbing activity....
At most, we spent about RM$100...

Great rite??... Free holidays at Avillion.... Haiz, I should have gone for their spas and water sports too.... hehehee..... **cheeky**

The ride..

We drove up to KL again after we checked-out to do more shopping...

It was 5pm when we left KL and traffic was building along the highway.... While I was driving, a local car drove beside me and shouted something about my tyre and showed a hand movement that it was shaky.... I stopped at the road shoulder and my bf did a check... We found out that my right rear tyre was wobbly..... *scary*.... That explained all the shakiness when I hit 140km/h... My bf assured me that it's safe to drive as long as we drive slowly... There were some tow truck along the highway to assist you if you need help but my bf is confident that we can make it to Singapore safely... But I doubted so cause we still have 5 hours to drive to reach Singapore!!..

I was so afraid that the wheel will detach itself from the car... I didn't drive for the next 2 hours cause I was so scared... But I pitied my bf who was so tired and sleepy and took the wheel for few hours after that...

We were the slowest car on the road driving at only 100km/h on average.... Practically, we were road hogging cause the speed limit on the highway is 110km/h!!... Even the buses are much more faster than us... Hhmph!

Told my bf to whack the mechanic who did the servicing on our car... But I was glad that we made it back home safely... We reached home at 12 midnight, that was a long 7 hours drive....
