Second VT Meeting - South Yarra As many of you know, the first VT meeting was a great success, primarilly because of the diverse people that came. This time, we were all back for a second coming of the Melbourne Motley Crew.
Visiting from Sydney, AussieDoug fit in fine, and the mysterious MoonlightSmile Sue missed us again.

|  | The Restaurant One of the first places we visited when we first came to Toorak was Smokehouse Pizza, where the lovely Lillian and her husband serve up beautiful wood-fired pizzas. What a perfect place and meal to serve the twelve of us. Mix that with some Merlot, some Shiraz and some Stella... and we were set!
Rather than each order up a separate menu, we mixed and matched several different pizzas! |
| | Ray_D and Anne12 began the night coming in from St. Kilda, and added a little spark to the conversation. Anne was particularly well colored after her trip to Queensland, and Ray always has a little Maltese grin, proving that he is more than just a Malteaser :) |
| | AussieJen is here, and she brought re-inforcements... her partner Tony, and her daughter Emma, the Buffalo Hunter! |
| | Ray fights with AussieDoug for the last pizza of Salmon and Capers Pizza... meanwhile Rosie and her partner (who is rumoured to be a member of the band 'Gorillaz') enjoy the wine and stories! |
| | ATXTraveler (Mark) and AussieDoug smile for the camera, while seated in the back of the restaurant. The tables were put together so that 12 people could all have great conversation and have access to the pizza! As you can also tell, there is a large heater in the background... something people from Sydney don't necessarily need! |
| | Tony and Jen are entertaining us with stories from Melton, while her daughter Emma prepares herself to explain how she ended up spraining a shoulder in Africa running from Buffalo! |
| | The Nightcap! To cap it all off, we invited everyone back to our little apartment for a homemade cheesecake from AussieJen! She made it from her husband's recipe, and I can see why she loved it!
Everyone finished their cheesecake and the free coffees from Smokehouse Pizza! |
