littlesam offered to let me snag this pic from one of his travelogues ...... an interesting type of VT meeting - in a tattoo museum and studio :)

he brought a picture of the piece he wanted, and found a sample of the same piece at the shop they met at so ......... his turtle was brought to life on his shoulder. Only through VT can you find this sort of peer bonding between new/online friends ...... wandering the town and getting new tats in the process!

Whitecliff, AKA: Cliffie and I became aquainted when he posted a forum question about tattoos .. he was about to get his first one!! We bonded over the reality of ink, what it means, the risks, and other people's perceptions ..... and off he went for a family trip to the tattoo parlor w/ his daughter :) This is the result - a wonderful serpent ..... I'm thinking he will be adding some other art to his right arm next .. after all one can't go about all lopsided, can one?

emilienoelle was kind enough to send me over to a friend's page to snag a picture of her foot and ankle tattoos. That pic has now been replaced. Now that we've met in person, and bonded a bit, I present the pic I took of the Divine Ms. Em's beautiful shoulder tattoo when we met at the Toronto VT meet in September 2005. Now remember, you are looking at her ink, okay???

I've known ms deemeanor, for years. When I was preparing to do research for my body mod project, she went out and got her nose pierced just for me :) Not really, but sounds good doesn't it?

I love this picture, as the needle used for the piercing is just sitting there, and she looks so darn calm about it all :)

After discussion, and proper cropping, tattugran and I decided to share this picture of her rose garden on our pages ........ since her hubby is now home, we have a much nicer/clearer/happier pic :)

Aint't love grand??? tattugran's hubby got a new tat while he was working away from home ... her name, a butterfly and a dragonfly so that they'd have some of the same critters ........ they've been together since they were kids ..... ain't love grand?
