Co. Donegal

Lough Finn, Co. Donegal
Lough Finn in Fintown, Co. Donegal. This is the view we drove past to get to our rented Irish Cottage on Lock Muck. A removed remote area of Donegal near Aghla Mountain and the Blue Stack Mts.
Our Rented Cottage, Lock Muck, Co. Donegal

Co. Donegal, Our Self-Cater Cottage.

This cottage was very lovely and would be great to rent for the summer months, but don't rent in off season. Very little heat, little bathing water. Too far from stores, restaurants, and touring sites.

It was a private rental, I reccommend you rent a self-cater from an established web-site or organization that has accredibility.
More Irish Sheep, Donegal

More Irish Sheep

I never tire of coming across a batch of sheep, they always add to the charm of the countryside and even the towns of Ireland. Not a rare site to see a flock and shepherd walking down a busy town street. ........Sheep, sheep everywhere.
Bloody Foreland, Co. Donegal

Stone, stone and stone!!!!

Besides the people, the stones of Ireland are my favorite things, then the sheep.

Bloody Foreland displays amazing stone walls. Aran islands also a great example of endless stone.
Sheep Dog, Co. Donegal

Ever Faithful Sheep Dog!! Donegal

How can we not forget the wonderful faithful Irish Sheep Dogs. This handsome fellow by a barn. Charming colors and textures in this photo. Co. Donegal.
Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry

Co. Kerry, Ireland

Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry, the patchwork fields and scattered cottages have a simetrical order to them.

I love this area, Connemara and Achill Island are my other two favorites, with Donegal to follow.
Inch Beach, Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry

Inch Beach, Co. Kerry, Dingle Peninsula

Everytime I visit this beach, it has a different face to show me. This evening sunset is lovely. Dingle Peninsula will never disappoint you.
Ring of Kerry, Iveragh Peninsula

Ring of Kerry, Iveragh Peninsula

This view is a lake at the start of the Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is very scenic, but I prefer the Dingle Peninsula. This ring is too long. It is best to cut across the center of the Peninsula to save time.

It must be a wonderful walking paradise. I thing that I'll look for a sheep fly ticket to Dublin. (It's easy for us) and go any time there (a long weekend for example) and taste it. Thank you for your tips, Jean-Pierre
