Happy Hour(s) are here again Okay so we had to have a teeny weeny drink on our holidays....! The boys at the Beachcomber Bar in Stalis did us proud and we went there most evenings.... thanks to Adam, Kostas, James, Zak, Stratos and Niko for their smiles and patience (prising three middle aged women off their bar stools is not a feat for the faint hearted!) Mines a Mai Tai, Thanks and Ya Mas!!! |

Boys at the Beachcomber Bar Stalis Just a few of the guys who made it happen - cocktails were shaken and never stirred! Adam and Kostas did the Tom Cruise stuff for us and got a round of applause every time! Thanks guys - hope you have a great season! |

What, you mean I have to have another? Okay then! We trudged around, wearing out shoe leather and managed to find another fab cocktail bar in Stalis (actually there are lots!) in the shape of Themis Bar. By day, they look after you on the beach, Branco does his Redcoat thing bringing drinks, tilting umbrellas just at the right angle for you, Manos whisks out a menu just as you settle into your seat and begin to think of that Greek Salad they do so well (and try the jacket potatoes with tuna, - yummi yummi!) By night, George is behind the bar, pulling pints and pulling faces to make you laugh. Out front Kostas is touting for tourists and looking so gorgeous you want to give his mother a hug for such a lovely warmheared boy she brought up! All the Greek men we met were real gents! |
